WebDrive maps a drive letter to FTP, FrontPage or WebDAV servers WebDrive integrates WebDAV, FTP, or SFTP servers into the Windows desktop by mapping them to a network drive letter.
Files are transferred by simply saving them to a drive letter - theres no need to run a separate FTP/SFTP client.

WebDrive supports Web-Based Distributed Authoring and Versioning protocol (WebDAV). By mapping a drive letter to any WebDAV compliant Web server, WebDrive will allow you to lock files, modify them and then release the locks so that others may review and update the files. By using WebDAV locking concepts, WebDrive users ensure data integrity.
- Security Features
WebDrive has built-in support for the industry standard SSL protocol. When used in conjunction with secure Web servers, WebDrive will open an encrypted tunnel between the client computer and the remote server giving you secure transmission of critical data over the Internet. WebDrive can be used as an efficient alternative to an expensive corporate VPN. Install the WebDrive Client and an SSL enabled server and WebDrive can act as your company VPN.
- DOS/Legacy Support
Once WebDrive has mapped a drive to your server, you can access it like a local drive. Use a DOS-Prompt to use commands such as copy, xcopy, mkdir, dir, move, etc. As the Internet grows, DOS based and other legacy applications are quickly being left in the dust, primarily due to their inability to access data over the Internet. WebDrive can breathe new life into these applications by providing DOS based Internet file access.

- File Caching: WebDrive caches both file and directory listings for quick access. You can control the amount of disk space used for the cache and whether to cache files, directory listings, or both.

- Operating System: Windows 95, 98, ME, NT v4.0 (Workstation or Server), Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows 2003 Server
- Processor: Pentium class processor or better
- Memory: Minimum 32MB system memory
- Disk Space: Minimum 40MB free disk space (for product and caching space)
- Internet Connection: Either a direct Internet connection or a modem with a minimum baud rate of 28.8 (56K is recommended)
- Network Components: Microsofts 32-bit TCP/IP networking component. Note: No other TCP/IP stacks are currently supported
- SFTP features of WebDrive are supported under Windows NT, Windows 2000, and later.
