WebDrive is a software that helps you transfer files. WebDrive is more than just an FTP Client. By connecting to WebDAV, FTP, or SFTP servers through a virtual drive, files are transferred by simply saving them to a drive letter.
Theres no need to run a separate FTP client interface. Unlike typical FTP clients, WebDrive lets you open and edit server-based files without the additional download step.
Main features:
- SFTP Support - Use WebDrive to connect to your SFTP/SSH server for fast, secure file access. SFTP is supported when running under Windows NT/2K/XP/03. Windows 9x is not supported.
- Microsoft FrontPage Support - Connect to any website running the Microsoft FrontPage extensions.
- Firewall/Proxy server support - Login through a variety of proxy servers and firewalls, including MS Proxy 2.0, SOCKS 4.3 and SOCKS 5, and Raptor (gwpasswd).
- S/KEY Password Encryption - Use MD4 & MD5 password encryption for supported FTP servers.
- Foreign Language Support - Support for Far East languages like Japanese, and Chinese using DBCS.
- File Caching - WebDrive caches both file and directory listings for quick access. You can control the amount of disk space used for the cache, and whether to cache files, directory listings, or both.
- FTP resume interrupted download.
- Support for Unix file attributes through an Explorer shell extension as well as a command line utility.
- Options to transfer files in ASCII/Binary mode based on file extension.
System requirements:
- Processor: Pentium class processor or better
- Memory: Minimum 32MB system memory
- Disk Space: Minimum 40MB free disk space (for product and caching space)
- Internet Connection: Either a direct Internet connection or a modem with a minimum baud rate of 28.8 (56K is recommended)
- Network Components: Microsofts 32-bit TCP/IP networking component. Note: No other TCP/IP stacks are currently supported

Enhancements:
- Added an option to cache small writes by applications to increase performance, this new setting is on the site properties/file settings dialog.
- Added the ability for Amazon S3 mode to view folders created by other applications like BucketExplorer and also for BucketExplorer to view WebDrive created folders.
- Various enhancements to Offline file support that better handle file deletion and provided a synchronization log feature to examine what happened during a synchronize operation. Also added the ability to set a root folder Offline.
- Fixed SFTP handshake issue with extremely slow servers where command timeout was not being used and a 30 second timeout was always used.
- Fixed issue with Amazon S3 storage when using a URL rooted on a bucket with nested folders being listed.
- Fixed Vista access denied issue when clicking on "Schedule" from the transfer manager, it will now run elevated and prompt with the standard UAC Allow dialog.
- Fixed site wizard error when "test connection" button was hit and site information was lost.
- Fixed offline synchronization issue when files are removed on the server but not removed from the offline cache during a synchronize operation.
- Fixed File Transfer Manager issue if filenames contained the percent % character.
- Fixed SFTP upload and download issue where CPU usage would go very high.
- Fixed SSL issue with some servers that prevented connection.
- Fixed SFTP issue with some broken servers that returned invalid directory information.
