WFTPD Server has been a leading FTP server for Windows since it was released in 1993. With the release of WFTPD Pro Server, we extended its support to use for multiple virtual hosts, and to run as a dedicated service on Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Server 2003. Since that initial release, weve also added a host of other features, including encrypted authentication and transfers, Windows user database integration, a more intuitive user interface, remote administration and more.

Such features as virtual hosting [the ability to run more than one FTP site on a single machine], remote administration, and on-the-fly file conversion, allow the site administrator to provide a more professional feel to the FTP site.
• Quiet and unobtrusive - running as a service, and controlled through the Control Panel (with its own special applet), the WFTPD Pro Server software can be run either on an NT server, or even a commonly-used NT workstation. Users of the workstation need not be aware that WFTPD Pro Server is running on it, and FTP clients connecting to the WFTPD Pro Server FTP sites will not be aware whether or not anyone is logged in to the workstation.
