XLitePro is simply an X-Server only. It is our entry priced X-Server. It includes no other fancy features. It provides you with a very stable and robust package to connect to any Unix/Linux system. If you require additional functionality, please look at XConnectPro or X-SecurePro.

XLitePro is a non complicated product for integrating the Microsoft Windows and TCP/IP network environments. XLitePro is an inexpensive but effective way to transform a standard PC running under MS Windows (9x/ME/NT4/2000/XP) into a multi-function terminal. Being based on the TCP/IP open standards, the package integrates a PC into an interoperable computer network. The network of dissimilar computers and operating systems becomes perfectly transparent to you. XLitePro enables you to work on your PCs screen with several applications executed simultaneously on various network nodes. As a result, a heterogeneous network appears to you as a unified large computer system arranged directly on your desktop.

XLitePro is the pre-eminent X Windows environment for the Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows ME and Windows XP platforms. It enables easy access to different operating systems. To get started, all you need is the XLitePro package and a standard 32-bit networked PC (386, 486 or Pentium) and Windows 95, 98, 2000, NT, ME or XP. XLitePro provides full support for multiple X applications, sophisticated window managers, including TWM, FVWM, Motif, Open Look and desktops like CDE, KDE etc.. You have a consistent graphical user interface for all your applications, and get more productivity with less effort. Learning to work in a multiple-computer environment has never been easier. Easy to Install

To get started, you execute an easy installation procedure by answering a few questions. After that XLitePro installs all the software and protocols you need to get going. XLitePro does not need fancy hardware, your existing standard 32-bit PC is enough. Any networked 386, 486 or Pentium PC can become a XLitePro terminal in minutes.

Easy to Use

Starting work with XLitePro is easy. You can choose from five different starting methods XDM, RSH, REXEC, RLOGIN and Telnet - to initiate your remote logic session in host. You can locally build startup icons with macros, which enables you to start your favorite X clients just by clicking a window icon. Using the Window System terminal in a familiar PC environment is so easy that you can do it almost without training. Users learn new applications quicker and with fewer commands to memorize.

Easy to administrate

When you want extend your system, you can add extra XLitePro terminals quickly and with low cost. If your computer system supports a remote disk, you can install a multi-user copy of XLitePro on such disk. You can make company-wide installation from a single PC.
