MyConnection Server 8.6e is a useful application which is designed for monitoring and analyzing the network status and connection performance.

It enables organizations to measure, monitor and analyze connection performance between remote systems and their MyConnection Server and Satellite Servers.

MyConnection Server has three primary testing modes that provide great flexibility ranging from a ‘self–help’ testing portal to automated network testing managed from the MCS management console. These deployment options are easily combined and changed on the fly, enabling you to quickly adapt MCS connection testing to changes in business requirements and network environments.

AccessCT Appliance Remote Testing enhances the standard automated remote testing through the provision of a small test appliance that integrates the active testing process with an integrated TCP stack to deliver passive monitoring and error analysis. The AccessCT platform provides a cost effective solution that does not entail the use of a PC platform and enables support engineers to analyze the testing process to identify the network errors on the WAN or LAN in addition to the performance issues. 1. End-User Initiated Browser-based Connection Testing
   • Provides end–users a quick and easy means to test their connection to your MCS server, results are displayed to the end–user and logged to the MCS database for review by support technicians.

MCS Database Consolidates Test Results All test results, from browser testing, Remote Agent testing or the AccessCT device, are captured to the MCS database, delivering a comprehensive profile to enable a fast resolution to high impact customer problems. Even results from a test performed from a Remote Agent to a remote Satellite Server are seamlessly written to the MCS database.

Satellite Servers act as target testing servers for Remote Test Agents, providing a quick and easy means to perform on-going or ad-hoc testing from one remote location to another remote location, fully managed from the MCS management console with test results immediately visible to the MCS Support Technician via browser-based reports.
   • Network technicians can use Satellite Servers to establish additional connection testing points at the application edge to accurately test actual application network paths. Satellite Servers can be created and deployed an unlimited number of times, use of the Satellite Server is limited by the number of active Remote Agent tests (CAT) licensed. Customizable Display Enables Self-Branded Connection Testing Portals The MCS browser-based connection tests are performed via Java applets, which can be easily incorporated into your own web pages with your messaging and branding. In addition, many display options can be customized and combined with JavaScript to to provide different views and behaviors such as the options below.
   • Embed the MCS applet in your own web page
   • Change the MCS applet display text to another language
   • Perform an action (dynamically change the web page, redirect to a new URL, etc.) based on connection test results
   • Query the end-user to enter a name or other text string that will be logged with their test results
   • Provide a selection of multiple server locations
