There is often a need to route clients to certain network destination using a centralized server. The centralized server may be connected to the destination using a VPN (virtual private netword), RAS (Dial-up Netwok Connection) or using multiple network interfaces. The Relay Server provides a centralized method to "relay" clients to their destinations.
