TelStar 1.9.4 is a useful tool which is designed to provide help with business. Using this version of TelStar will surely bring you convenience as well as benefit.

This is a lean and quick telnet client for Windows 95 and up. It supports and displays visual attributes such as bold, dim, blink, underline, italic, double-width and double-height, and colors.

The software supports ansi, scoansi, vt100, vt220, and wyse60 emulations. In addition you can "clone" existing emulations to create customized versions. Numerous options can be specified on the "command-line" when setting up shortcuts, so you can create icons on your desktop specifying different hosts, screen sizes, term emulations, window titles, whether to auto-connect, whether to auto-close on disconnect, etc.

Features also include menu-selected tiling of open connections, double-clicking to open a new connection, true pass-through aux print (without eating the escape sequences), and prompted verification if you attempt to close the session other than by logging off.

15. Pass-through aux port printing actually goes through the Win95 spooler, rather than kludging around with lpt1: - which means you can aux-print to a networked printer.
16. Pass-through printing actually allows escape sequences through to the aux printer. Many other telnet clients eat the escape codes even when in pass-through mode.
17. Ability to CLONE existing term types to produce customized types with different settings.
18. All Special Keys can be reprogrammed.
19. TelStar sets environment variables on the host to indicate the name of the user on the PC and the name of the PC.
20. TelStar (optionally) sends its windows size (telnet NAWS) to the host to indicate the number of rows and columns in use.
21. TelStar is designed for business environments. The program can be set up to automatically connect to a specified host, or to only allow connection to hosts defined in the hosts file, or to allow unrestricted connections.
