WhatsUp Gold Premium can be implemented in any environment in under one hour and enables you to discover your network in minutes. All network information is stored in a relational database to enable easy and efficient device management and reporting.
Main features:
- SNMP v1-3 support � WhatsUp Gold Premium can monitor and report on any SNMP parameter, and can import any MIB file with drag-and-drop ease. WhatsUp Gold can also receive and forward SNMP traps.
- WMI support � WhatsUp Gold Premium can monitor and report on any WMI parameter against Windows 2000, XP, and 2003 machines from systems utilization (CPU, hard disk drive, and memory) to application-level performance counters.
- Web interface/Reporting � Our unique Web interface enables anywhere, anytime access to the network, and allows for application configuration and full right-click technology using AJAX and Jscript. The latest version also offers 50 new precompiled reports out of the box.
- Visual mapping � See your network as onscreen icons, and reconfigure the map design on the fly with drag-and-drop functionality.
- Personalized workspaces � Administrators can set up and assign personalized, role-based workspaces to ensure easy yet secure access to information.
- Device dependency � Eliminating dependent alerts enables the administrator to more easily diagnose the problem without the distraction of numerous alerts.

Hardware
- Intel Pentium-compatible computers, 1 GHz or higher (2 GHz or faster recommended)
- 512 MB memory (RAM) (1-2 GB RAM recommended)
- 256 MB of drive space (up to 3 GB additional for MSDE Database and 7200 RPM drive recommended) Note: This is the requirement for installation. You will need more space for the database. An MSDE database can grow up to the 2 GB limit.

- To use pager, SMS, or beeper actions, a local modem and phone line is required (WhatsUp Gold v11 does not support modem pooling).
- Text to Speech Actions require a sound card configured to use SAPI v5.1, which comes with Windows 2003 and Windows XP operating systems. SAPI v5.1 can also be downloaded from the Microsoft Speech site.
