To install Atlantis on a memory flash drive:
- Launch Atlantis Word Processor (if Atlantis is not running yet) on your computer as usual, and choose the Tools | Options... command. Click the Save to File... button, and save the settings to the home folder of Atlantis on your hard drive (the settings filename should be Atlantis.ini).
- Copy the home folder of Atlantis (by default, "C:Program FilesAtlantis") to your memory flash drive
After this, Atlantis is ready to be used from this memory flash drive. Just connect this memory flash drive to a PC, locate your memory flash drive as a new logical drive in Windows Explorer, and double-click the Atlantis.exe file that can be found on this new drive.
Atlantis would use the settings stored on a memory flash drive. If you adjust these settings while using Atlantis from a memory flash drive, Atlantis would save the adjusted settings back to the memory flash drive.
Note when launched from a memory flash drive, Atlantis never writes its current settings to the Windows Registry.
