Hide-A-File 2

 Hide-A-File 2 is brings users a useful Windows 95/98/NT/2000/ME/XP computer security software program that allows you to hide files and folders so they cannot be accessed.

It can hide files or entire folders on your hard drive. You can not only hide files such as documents or spreadsheets, but you can hide the executable program files to restrict use of the programs. A password set up by you is necessary to unhide files or folders when you want to use them.

Give different passwords to different files and folders and give these passwords to different people so you to control who can access different files.

With Hide-A-File, you compile a list of files and folders you want to be able to hide. Once you have added files and folders to the list, you can hide and unhide them with just two clicks of the mouse.

Hide-A-File is available as shareware. Try it for a month to see if you like it before you have to pay for it. Just download the install file to your computer, then run the file like a program by double-clicking on the install file in Windows Explorer or My Computer to install Hide-A-File. Warning:

All files are hidden on the C drive, regardless of where they were originally. For example, if you have a file on a flash drive and you use Hide-A-File to hide it, the file will be moved to the C drive and hidden. Do not use Hide-A-File to hide files on backup disks or flash drive. If you lose your C hard drive, you will lose any files hidden by Hide-A-File.
