StenGuard is a specific sniffer system working in client-server architecture. Snifer resides on server side and grabs packets travelling across local network. It allows you to monitor network traffic basing on dictionaries. Dictionary can have many words. If packet containing specified word arrives on a network its logged. You can log on remotely (using StenGuard client) to machine with Stenguard server and check all log entries. This way you are not limited to one monitoring machine. Additionaly you can check many network hosts properties and analyze machines states (Services, Logged on users, Sessions etc) System has many advantages including parent control at home, employee control at work, monitoring internet cafes network etc
