Browsers create cache files and history lists that store personal information on your computer, creating a trail that others can easily follow to invade your privacy. Most of your other programs and Windows itself also keep records of everything you do. SurfSecret is designed to periodically destroy this trail. It can run automatically (every minute, every five minutes, every hour, when you shut down your computer, when you close your web browser, and so on). It clears out your cache, cookie, and history folders on all major browsers, removes the links in your Netscape, Internet Explorer, and AOL toolbars, and deletes AutoComplete data from Internet Explorer in Windows 95/98/Me.

SurfSecret also cleans out your recycle bin, temporary folders, last documents used, last run files, and last found files. SurfSecret has a constantly expanding 3rd party application cleaning tool, File Shredding capability, .TMP system file cleaning, and much more. Furthermore, Stealth Mode and password protection allow SurfSecret to hide in memory so that nobody will know SurfSecret is running.
Version 5.0 includes extra index.dat shredding options, autocomplete clearing on 95/98/NT/2000/XP/ME, and improved spyware deletion mechanisms.
