.Net Licensing Pro 4.0.1.0 is a powerful and easy to use tool which is designed to give you an advanced  100% .NET solution for licensing controls and applications written with any language designed for the Microsoft .NET Framework (C#, VB.NET etc).

There are editions of the license protection library for the .NET Framework 2.0, 3.0 and 3.5 .NET Licensing Pro also can be used for copy protection of the .Net applications and controls designed for Windows Mobile (Windows CE) and created using .NET Compact Framework 2.0 and 3.5.

.NET Licensing Pro basically allows 2 different licensing schemas:

• Licensing by issue license file. Provide the variety of ways to control using of licensed product. You can validate different parameters like company and user name, version of product, IP address, number of processors and so on. This schema is more suitable for licensing .NET controls, but you can use it to license .NET applications as well. The license file is digitally signed using asymmetric encryption algorithm and encrypted. It makes license file falsification near to impossible.
• Licensing by secure encrypted license keys. Provide an easy way to activate application or control from evaluation to full functional version. .NET Licensing Pro uses a asymmetric encryption to generate and verify license keys. This schema is more suitable for licensing .NET applications, but you can use it to license .NET controls as well.
  

In conjunction with these 2 schemas you can use “Activation Key” method so that licenses can be used only on one machine at a time.

License Manager:
License Manager is full functional application for complete license and customer management. It helps you to prepare your product for protection, manage license and customer list, manage Activation Web Service, encrypt your code and data, sends e-Mails to customers and so on. Information can be stored in the Microsoft Acess or Microsoft SQL database.
