ABCFind 2.0

ABCFind 2.0 is a collection of powerful find and replace features that increase Visual Basic development productivity. It seamlessly integrates into the Visual Basic IDE, completely replacing the standard Find and Replace.

Within minutes of loading ABCFind into the VB IDE, you will become a more productive developer.  Using ABCFind, you will be able to search for multiple search expressions, across one or more projects, and then use the Search Results window to navigate around the matches.  Not only can you search code contained within the VB IDE but the 'Find In Files' and 'Find in SourceSafe' functions make it easy to search for code wherever it is stored.

Major Features:

1. Provides regular expressions; for example you can specify that only matches that occur in declaration lines should be displayed, or only matches that occur within string literals.
2. Can use an Or operator to specify more than one expression to find in the same pass.
3. Searches can be performed across all projects in the project group, all open code modules or all editable/checked-out modules.
4. Can  ignore all matches that occur within comments.
5. Can search historical versions of the code in the associated SourceSafe database.
6. The power of ABCFind is further enhanced by its ability to run as a standalone application without the need for the VB IDE.
7. Can search for matches in VB projects contained within SourceSafe databases, including the version history.
8. Compatible with VB versions 5 and 6.
