Avangardo GPS generator 2.2.4

Avangardo GPS generator is a NMEA GPS device emulator (NMEA 0183 generator). This utility is intended for help in GPS software development, testing and debugging. With this software you can generate complex NMEA sentences from different data inputs. The sentences are recognized by any NMEA compatible mapping software.
It`s ideal when you need GPS data inputs, but you have no signal or GSP receiver. You can use this software as a GPS simulator using a null-modem (COM port - rs232) cable or a virtual serial port software.
Current version of "GPS generator" can operate in two modes:
Map mode. In this mode you choose map file, assign start and finish coordinates (geodetic lat/lon) on the map and speed. "GPS generator" will calculate heading and current coordinates and then generate GPS output data. Current simulated position and heading will be shown on the map. During the simulation you can change heading and speed.
File mode. In this mode you choose NMEA log file and start position in file. "GPS generator" will read NMEA sentences and show current position on the map. During the simulation you can change current reading position in file (move forward and backward). So in this mode you can replay your GPS log data (including GPS log, written in map mode).
You can save generated NMEA 0183 sentences to file or give them to other software through COM port. Thus mapping software will work with this generator as with a real GPS receiver. You can also set option to generate random CRC error in NMEA protocol. It can be used to test GPS software stability.
Version restrictions:
- 15 minutes session limit;
- splash screen during starting;
- only map mode;
- only RMC NMEA message;
