You can inspect the object using the enhanced property grid. The enhanced property grid gives you the ability to drill down to other contained objects including private and internal objects.
ClassMaster provides the user interface to explore, navigate and test the .Net framework. ClassMaster is similar to Microsofts Visual Studio Object Browser but with the added benefit of being able to execute the actual methods and display the results.
Using ClassMaster you can load any number of assemblies and start navigating the classes and there corresponding methods and properties.
You can immediately create an object from a class by clicking on the class and then clicking the "Run" button. The new object is then displayed in the property viewer enabling you to see all the properties of the object. You can also click on a method , click on the arguments and fill in the values, and click on the "Run" button and view the results.
Depending on the return type the results can be viewed as an object, xml, datagrid or in html. Being able to explore any assembly at the click of a button gives you the power to learn fast.
With ClassMaster you can "edit and continue" when unit testing. Many times code can execute without errors, but errors can be in data returned or in the changed state of the object. "Soft errors" such as these can be hard to detect. Viewing or displaying returned data and object state in standard unit testing tools is tedious and time consuming.
ClassMaster gives you the ability to view the resulting object state or conveniently view return collections, data tables, arrays and xml from web services. Unit testing with full inspection can improve the quality and the reliability of the code.
