Creative BASIC 1.01 brings users an interpretive language which is suitable for hobbyists, students, and those looking to get their feet wet with programming. Creative BASIC is syntax compatible with the original IBasic Standard language and features the following:

2D game support includes easy to use commands for creating, hit testing and moving sprites. Scrolling tile maps allow creating unlimited fields of play from only a few small images.
