The Windows Script Host (WSH) was a great way to write scripts in vbscript and jscript, however they dont work with the new .NET environment. The Toolsack DotNet Script Host combines the best of both worlds, you can write scripts in JScript and C# in plain text files, then execute the scripts without compilation
