GetWord 3.4

GetWord 3.4 is a useful tool which is designed for capturing text on screen. It can help integrate the function of text capturing into your software product easily. It is a regular Win32 DLL component, and supports all the popular development environments, such as Visual Studio 6.0, Visual Studio .Net 2003, Visual Studio .Net 2005, Delphi, C++ Builder, etc.

Major Features:

1. Support all the popular Windows platforms with almost all the different main languages, such as English, Simplified & Traditional Chinese, Russian, French, Japanese, German, Spanish, Korean, Turkish, Arabic, Swedish, Norwegian, Italian, Latin, Portuguese, Polish, Indian, Thailand, Vietnamese, etc.
2. Support Unicode.
3. Support sentence capturing. It can capture not only the words at a given point, but also the words before and after the given point.

Enhancements:

• Add two capturing modes for point text capturing. The mode can be specified in GetWord.ini as follows:
• • PointCaptureMode=0 ; capture the total horizontal line below the given capturing point (x, y) (DEFAULT MODE)
  • PointCaptureMode=1 ; only capture the text below the given capturing point and in the same window with the capturing point
• Add two capturing modes for rectangle text capturing. The mode can be specified in GetWord.ini as follows:
• • RectCaptureMode=0 ; capture the strings whose bounding rectangles are totally in the inner of or intersects with the given capturing rectangle
  • RectCaptureMode=1 ; capture strings whose bounding rectangles are totally in the inner of the given capturing rectangle (DEFAULT MODE)
• MouseMon module supports monitoring all the mouse messages globally
• Add a separate License.dat file, which supports to manage all the officially licenses
• Fix bug for the rectangle text capturing for some applications
• Fix bug for the selected (highlighted) text capturing for Acrobat Reader
