HelpScribble 7.7.6
HelpScribble 7.7.6 Ranking & Summary
HelpScribble 7.7.6 description
HelpScribble 7.7.6 is an efficient and great, full-featured help authoring tool for making help files from start to finish. Create WinHelp (.hlp) files, HTML Help (.chm) files, a printed manual and online documentation (on a web site) all from the same HelpScribble project.
If you have previously used another help authoring tool, reuse your work by importing the HPJ+RTF files created with the other tool or by a help decompiler.
Use the help files you make with HelpScribble to provide context-sensitive help with your Window applications, no matter which development tool you use. If you use Borland Delphi or C++Builder, you will like the way HelpScribbles HelpContext property editor integrates with them to make assigning Topic ID values to HelpContext properties very easy.
Major Features:
- Write Perfect Help Files for Your Software
- Portable Documents with Hyperlinks
- The Complete Help Authoring Tool
- WinHelp
- HTML Help
- Printed Manual
- Web Help
- Cross-Platform Help
Enhancements:
- Improved error handling when compiling into HTML Help format
- HTML Help: Broken links indicated at the bottom of the help compiler error log now mention the topic the broken link was found in.
- Import Help Project: If the HPJ file specifies an invalid path to the RTF file, HelpScribble now looks for the RTF file in the same folder as the HPJ file rather than complaining the path to the RTF file is invalid.
Requirements: Help compiler
