Miraplacid Text Driver SDK 5.4 is a compact tool which can create your own software application to extract text from documents or embed this functionality into your software solution. The main part of SDK is interactive Wizard. It generates dll with software installer. When you add this dll to your application and call installation function, it installs a virtual printer driver on your PC. When you print to this "printer", it converts document to text and saves it to disk, prints to a real printer or uploads to a server.
