Modem Master ActiveX Component 1.2.20 is a useful tool which is designed to provide help with reading and writing to the modem.

Modem Master ActiveX is a nice and easy to use activeX that does all the complex work when reading and writing to the modem.

Source code is available upon request. Developer can read and write any strings to modem, execume modem commands, and receive a number of different notifications about modem state changes. Even beginner may start using this component in a few minutes.

Detailed documentation as well as Visual Basic, MS Visual C++, and Delphi samples are is included in a package.

Major Features:

  1. Support of any port number, rate, and port options (parity, stop bits, etc).
  2. Support both COM, LPT and PRN ports.
  3. Execute a command, and get a reply.
  4. Send any string/command to modem.
  5. Read any string from modem.
  6. Get notified about incoming rings, and other hardware events.
  7. Learn about last error occured (if any)
