However, it is also possible to use the asynchronous BeginGetGroups method that spares you having to start a thread and deal with thread-termination issues. In either case the GroupReceived event is fired as groups are received, so you can update the UI as the download progresses.

News/Net also includes Mabrys Mime/Net - providing a complete MIME message handling capability. Mime/Net parses messages on the fly as they are received - there is no delay between receiving a message and being able to access it or any of its attachments. Mime/Net also encodes binary attacments as they are being transmitted, thus avoiding lengthy delays that are encountered with components that require that you encode attachments prior to transmission. Mime/Net provides the easiest to use access to parts, which may have nested parts, of any MIME component you will find.
