OptiVec for Borland C/C++ 1.2.2 description

Brings the power of vectorized programming to the PC.The largest portion of almost all programs processing numerical data consists of loops. Replacing these loops by the hand-optimized, Assembler-written vector and matrix functions of OptiVec speeds up program execution by up to a factor of 2-3 and also greatly enhances the numerical accuracy. OptiVec contains the fully vectorized forms of alloperators and functions of C/C++ for all integer and floating-point (including complex) data types, plus many other real and complex math functions, statistics, analysis, FFT techniques, curve fitting, matrix operations, graphics - in total more than 3000 functions. Needs Borland C/C++ 4.0 or higher; math processor required (386+387, 486DX, or Pentium).
