PBBalloon & PBTray 2.0  is a powerful tool which includes an ActiveX OCX and DLL, to show XP-style balloon messages in ANY Windows version, show system tray icons and get their location on the screen.

PBBalloon was designed specifically for developers who wish to use balloon messages in their programs. Balloon messages were introduced by Microsoft as an API in Windows XP, but thanks to PBBalloon, it is not necessary to know API, and the messages can be used in Windows 95/98/NT/Me/2000/XP/Server 2003.

PBBalloon & PBTray can even be used to add Balloon tooltips to your applications, giving them a professional look when running under any Windows version.

3. HTML Content Supported
   • We have added HTML support for the message title and message. You can use HTML tags in the content, and we even provide a simple object model if you don’t want write HTML directly. This implementation is NOT browser based so we can guarantee it will work correctly on any Windows operating system, indenpendently of any browser version installed. 4. Theme Support
   • Themes define the message shape, the icons to use, and the general layout and colors for the message. We include by default implementations of 4 themes (Vista Balloon, XP Balloon, Vista Infotip and Office 2007 Infotip). The included themes are also customizable so you can modify them to fit your needs, and the model is so flexible, that we support custom themes created by you. Besides this, changing a message's theme is a one line change.
5. Modal and Modaless Messages
   • You can use modal messages as message boxes, and modaless messages for information.
6. Includes Tray Icon Management
   • Tray Icon Management allows you to display icons in the system tray. It can detect the icon position and tell you if the icon is hidden under Windows XP or better. It comes with events like MouseMove, ButtonDown, ButtonUp and DBClick. It is fully integrated with the message's engine to create balloons/popups/messages in system tray icons.
7. Multi-Monitor support
   • PBMessageUI fully supports multi-monitor systems and dual-displays. The message will even show in a display edge without splitting in both displays.
8. Tooltip support
   • Using this component you can associate a balloon with any control as their tooltip, and PBMessageUI will make sure it works correctly under any windows version.
