Scripter.NET is a component libary allowing to integrate script for the .NET Framework script engines into applications, and to execute code at run time.
Scripter.NET uses VSA technology that makes possible to use VB.NET and JScript.NET scripts.
Scripter.NET is freeware product, meaning that you can use it for unlimited period of time and distribute binaries with your application for free. Source codes are avaliable upon registration.
Scripter.NET is written in C# and built on .NET classes. Registered version ships with full source code.
Main features:
- Support for VB.NET and JScript.NET scripts. Both scripting engines are supported. Use ScriptRun.Language property to specify scripting engine to use.
- Adding items to the script. You can add any .NET object to be used in the script. Note : It seems to be impossible to add object of types declared in the calling assembly.
- Resource processing. If running script have appropriate resx file, FileName_Resources object is automatically created and added to the script, allowing to load resources from resx file.
- Using concept. Special word "using" can be added to the script, allowing to use classes from different scripts. demos and samples. Demos and script samples come with the product, helping to understand how to use Scripter.NET
