TransactXML & DesignerXML 5.2

DesignerXML is a useful and reliable Windows application which is used to configure TransactXML Server.
Drivers are system DLLs that often depend on other DLLs to be
correctly installed on the same machine that is loading the driver.
Given the following architecture:

The drivers are loaded by Machine B. On that machine you need the client Runtime
for your database. This is installed by your database vendor. On the DB2 install
select the "Run-Time Client" - then you will need to reboot. On Oracles install,
select "Oracle Client". These are usually selected by default. Do not install
database client software on Machine C.
Given the following architecture:

Install the DBMS client software on machine B. Do not install database client
software on Machine C.
After your server is setup:
From designerXML, select "Server" from the "File" menu. Set the active server to
Machine B, then select "New" from the file menu. SUpply a script name on page 1 and
press next. The second page shows a list of available drivers.
The driver will not be available if the operating system cannot load it IF YOU DO NOT SEE THE DB2 or ORACLE DRIVER LISTED in DesignerXML
Make sure all dependancy shared libs or DLLs are installed (on machine B)
Be sure that DB2 or Oracle libs are in the search path
