UltraGram is a free visual parser generator which provides functionality for creating grammar of a parser, interpreter or compiler, extensively test it and generate parser source code in a preferred programming language.
UltraGram uses LALR(1) parsing technique with some GLR type additions that makes if fast and error resistant. The tool offers an excellent support of the development process and helps to eliminate possible parsing problems at the early stages.

- Detailed information about all usual problems that happen in the parser development process
- Clear and understandable graphical representation of all possible shift-reduce and reduce-reduce conflicts. The generated graph shows the starting conflict point and all transitions from it up to the final conflicting statements
- Visualization of DFA graph in its conventional form. This helps to clearly understand all transitions that happen during parsing process. Additionally DFA graph can expose information about lookahead tokens that will be quite useful for understanding parsing theory
- Detection of runtime errors that happen on conflicting tokens and are not located during grammar development stage
- Advanced error recovery mechanism that handles not only invalid sequences of tokens but also conflicting tokens and is based on the GLR type technique
