232Analyzer 5.2 description
232Analyzer is a useful and advanced serial port analyzer 232Analyzer is a useful and advanced serial port analyzer that allows programmers, engineers to control, monitor serial port (RS-232/485/422) activities.
232Analyzer supports data input and monitoring in ASCII, Hexadecimal, Decimal, Octal, Binary and Character formats.
232Analyzer also allows you to change / monitor RS-232s line state: RTS, DTR, CTS, DSR, CD, RI, RX, and TX.
All data and signal flows are logged in the Data Logging Window, which can be save as .txt file for future analysis.
232Analyzer not only allows you to control / monitor RS-232s activities, with the right type of converters, you can also control / monitor other serial devices, such as RS-485 and RS-422.
Main features:
- Two operating modes: Monitoring and Debugging
- Send / Receive data in all formats: Hexadecimal, Decimal, Octal, Binary, and Character string
- Send / Receive signals: RTS, DTR, CTS, DSR, CD and RI
- COM 1 to 16
- Frequently Used Keys: 00h to 1Fh (Total 32 nos.)
- Programmable Buttons: send command strings, signals or data sequence with 1 single button (Total 32 nos.)
- Programmable Auto-Response: upon receiving certain data or signal, program automatically send out data, and/or signals (Total 16 nos.)
- Programmable Macros: send sets of data / signals, response to different types of incoming data / signals with timer and sequence (Total 8 x 8 Steps, and 8 x 8 Sub-routines)
- Virtual LEDs: view RS-232 line state, control RTS and DTR, Break communication if necessary
- Data Logging: all communications are logged and can be saved into .txt file for future analysis
- Calculator: simple and useful tools for logic and math calculation in different data notation
- Notation Converter: convert from one data notation to another
- AscII chart: all 256 AscII code in different formats
- Settings files: settings for different devices can be save individually
- Flexible screen adjustment
- User preferences settings: General, Startup Actions, Exit Actions, etc.
System requirements:
- Pentium III or above
- 128MB RAM
- one or more available COM ports (USB to RS-232 converter also supported)
- XGA (1024x768) or above monitor and graphics card.
Version restrictions:
- 30 days trial
