Copy Plain Text is a Firefox extension that allows you to copy your selected webpage text without formatting Copy Plain Text allows you to copy text without formatting from a webpage.
Have you ever copied something to Thunderbird or Office and been annoyed that the text formatting (bold, font size, etc) came with it? Dont you wish you could just copy the text itself, without having to copy it, paste it into notepad, then copy it again?
Copy Plain Text gives you an option to copy text without the formatting. You can even set it to trim extra space in and around the copied text!
Main features:
- Removes any space before and after the text selected
- Replaces any occurrence of multiple spaces with a single space
- Converts two or more empty lines into a single line
- Hijacks the default copy action to use this extenion to copy text
