EZ Backup My Photos Premium will help you encrypt and/or schedule the backup of your photos as a self extracting archive EZ Backup My Photos Premium will help you easily backup your Photos and Images to any local or network drive and even to CD/DVD, as a self-extracting archive.
The scheduling feature can provide a completely automated backup solution and 128 bit encryption is available to secure the backup archive.
EZ Backups wizard interface makes backing up your data easy! Each page of the wizard contains instructions and options which will guide you through backing up your data.
Depending on the program or files you are backing up EZ Backup will decide whether it needs to search your computer for files. If a search is necessary you will be asked to specify the types of files you want to backup.
A list of file types will be displayed and the default selection is recommended for most users.
Your next choice is where you would like to save the backup archive which will contain your data. You can save this archive to your hard-drive, a network drive, or even a removable disk like an mp3 player.
The program will then automatically find your data and create an executable backup archive.
If you need to restore your data simply run the backup archive on the computer to which you want to restore your data and follow the wizards instructions.
The auto-detect destination feature will automatically find the right place to restore your files.
Main features:
- Scheduled Backups: EZ Backup Premium can schedule your backups using the Windows Task Scheduler. Simply select the interval, date, and/or time you wish the backup to be performed and EZ Backup will interface with the Task Scheduler to achieve automated scheduled backups.
- Shadow Copy: Also known as VSS, Shadow Copy enables EZ Backup Premium to access and backup files even while they are in use or locked by other programs.
- Close after scheduled backup: When enabled, this feature will automatically closes EZ Backup Premium after a scheduled backup has been performed.
- Encrypt Backup: This feature allows you to encrypt your backup archive with 128 bit encryption. If you have sensitive documents or data then this feature will prevent anyone from accessing your data if they are able to access your backup. When using encryption it is very important to write down and keep your passphrase somewhere safe since it would be impossible to retrieve your data without it.
