FurMark 1.6.5

FurMark 1.6.5 is a multi-functional tool which can offer you many benefits. It is a small and very easy to use OpenGL benchmark basically focused on fur rendering. The applications rendering algorithm is highly multipass (100 passes) and each pass (or layer) uses a GLSL (OpenGL Shading Language) vertex / pixel shader to make the hairs finer and finer.

To increase the fur realism, two dynamic lights are used for self shadowing. The benchmark windows will offer several options allowing the user to tweak the rendering: fullscreen / windowed mode, window size, MSAA selection, duration. The benchmark also includes a GPU Burner mode (stability test). FurMark is a freeware, please read the EULA.txt before use. FurMark is a very intensive OpenGL benchmark that uses fur rendering algorithms to measure the performance of the graphics card. Fur rendering is especially adapted to overheat the GPU and that's why FurMark is also a perfect stability and stress test tool (also called GPU burner) for the graphics card.

The benchmark offers several options allowing the user to tweak the rendering: fullscreen / windowed mode, MSAA selection, window size, duration. This benchmark requires an OpenGL 2.0 compliant graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce 5/6/7/8 (and higher), AMD/ATI Radeon 9600 (and higher) or a S3 Graphics Chrome 400 series with the latest graphics drivers.
