Infothek Docudex is a useful, affordable and comprehensive document archiving system Infothek Docudex is a useful, affordable and comprehensive document archiving system. The programs have most of the features of far more expensive systems (except OCR and workflow features). The standard programs uses the Microsoft Access database engine (an MS Access license is NOT required), but it also supports most ODBC databases.
Infothek Docudex is optimized for TIFF files (single page or multi-page). This is the ideal low-cost solution for your document archiving and document management needs.
The programs require the files to be indexed manually. Although the programs do not include Optical Character Recognition (OCR), the indexing can be performed very efficiently, in some cases virtually semi-automatically, with the help of defaults, data extractions from file and directory names, repeat entries, inmports.
