Keyser Sozes Unofficial XP Security Pack 1.002

Comprises of 90% security hotfixes & 10% critical hotfixes for Windows XP Keyser Sozes Unofficial XP Security Pack comprises of 90% security hotfixes & 10% critical hotfixes (for pc stability).
The package is not meant as a replacement for Windows Update, it has been compiled so that you can quickly and easily update your system after a reinstall of Windows.
Before beginning installation, you should be aware of the following:
- You must close all currently open programs.
- You must choose a Custom Installation if the official
Microsoft Windows XP SP1 or SP1a is already installed.
- The following are not included in this Security Pack
installation - MSN Messenger updates, Windows Media
Player updates, Movie Maker updates, Java Virtual
Machine updates & Media Center Edition updates.
*(It is further recommended if you have Tiny Personal Firewall
installed, that you disable it before beginning installation).
Windows must be rebooted after installation, in order for all security
updates to be applied successfully.
You can find detailed information on each Hotfix by choosing a Custom Installation and clicking on the individual update.
You will find information relating to the name of the file, a link to the relevant Microsoft MSKB article and a description of why the Hotfix is needed.
If you have Windows XP SP1 or SP1a already installed, you must choose a Custom Installation and deselect all files containing WXP_SP1_X86_ENU
*Please be aware of the following:
1/ If you have Internet Explorer SP1 installed, Q816868 will ask you if
you would like to restart your computer - select No.
2/ Be aware that Q814078 may cause conflicts with Tiny Personal Firewall.
3/ There is no need to install Q331320 if you have Microsoft Office Beta 2
or Beta 2 Technical Refresh installed.
4/ I am still unable to figure a way to include Q318202, Q318203 & Q317244.
Please get these updates from Windows Update.
5/ Q811493_WXP_SP2_x86_ENU.rar is brought to you as an optional extra.
