Loki pinpoints your exact physical position and then uses that location to make the web revolve around you, wherever you are. With Loki youll always know where you are, make sure that others know where you are too, never get lost and always be able to find stuff nearby.
Leveraging Skyhooks Wi-Fi Positioning System (WPS) to automatically define your exact physical location, this customizable toolbar not only turns a Wi-Fi enabled laptop into a virtual GPS device, but also integrates that location into the users Internet search, browsing and communications.
You can customize Loki to easier find the content that is relevant to you and with one click, instantly find the nearest jazz band, directions to the closest Thai restaurant, the cheapest gas prices in town. You can even pinpoint your exact location on a map and share that location with others via Email or SMS.
Other features include a timezone adjuster that automatically updates your PC time based on the timezone youre currently in.
Requires WINDOWS XP and Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi location only available in the US today.
