Fast search engine for local and network storages of large volumes with momentary output of found text MBD Search Engine is a software application that was designed to be a fast search engine for local and network storages of large volume.
MBD SE is capable to create database by local or network files, find information in a fraction of a second and display found text immediately without loading source document. MBD SE is convenient for search in personal or corporative e-libraries, archives and other text storages.
MBD Search Engine uses new methods for searching in e-libraries and archives. This makes the program having unique capabilities of searching both in the students computer and in large archive or library containing hundreds or even millions of volumes.
MBD SE is offered both with Free and paid licenses: Standard, Professional and Corporative. Downloaded program has Free license and limited functionality.
Main Functions:
- Looking for documents in folders, volumes and network paths specified by user.
- Extracting of text information from the document files of different formats (DOC, RTF, TXT, HTML, PDF and ZIP).
- Creating own compressed database for fast found results output. Text information is displayed page by page.
- Creating search index contained all words positions.
- Providing momentary search by any words combination with “AND” or “OR” logical operators.
- Quick found results view both page by page and document by document.
- Loading documents in corresponding viewers (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Internet Explorer and others)
