Firefox extension that will resolve CNRI Handle (hdl) and Digital Object Identifier (doi) URIs Mozilla Handle/DOI Protocol Handler will allow Firefox to resolve CNRI Handle (hdl) and Digital Object Identifier (doi) URIs.
Mozilla Handle/DOI Protocol Handler accomplishes this by forwarding requests to one of two proxy servers:
- http://hdl.handle.net/ for hdl: URIs
- http://dx.doi.org/ for doi: URIs
This is the common method of enabling browsers to resolve handles via HTTP.
System requirements:
- Firefox: 1.5 2.0.0
Mozilla Handle/DOI Protocol Handler accomplishes this by forwarding requests to one of two proxy servers:
