Firefox extension that will to treat any text from a webpage as a URL and thus try to open it Plain Text Links is an extension that lets you treat any text like a URL, all you have to do is right click on the text and select "Open this URL". You can use ctrl+click or shift+click to open in a new tab or window, respectively.
Main features:
- Right click on plain text links, open like any other link
- Automatic fixup of URLs, including handling of common obscurations such as "hxxp://"
- Correctly handles URLs surrounded by quotes or parentheses, and URLs at the end of a sentence containing a trailing period
- Does not send a referrer header for visited links

- Firefox: 1.5 2.0.0.*
