When you run the program it appears in the notification area (system tray). Right-clicking the mouse once on the icon opens the menu for the program. Double clicking the mouse on the tray icon will perform a windows shut down or restart depending on what you specify (the default is a shut down). You can also specify a time and date to shut down / restart your computer (for example, if you were out or asleep).
Double click on the tray icon to perform a shut down of Windows . You can easily configure the way the program shuts down Windows.
Right-clicking on the tray icon shows a program menu, you can show and hide the main screen from here, and also shut down / restart the computer from this menu.
Main features:
- Shut down - Shuts down the system to a point at which it is safe to turn off the power. All file buffers have been flushed to disk, and all running processes have stopped.
- Force shut down - Forces processes to terminate. This can cause the applications to lose data. Therefore, you should only use this in an emergency.
- Restart - Shuts down the system and then restarts the system.
- Log off - Shuts down all processes running in the security context of the process that called the ExitWindowsEx function. Then it logs the user off.
- Power off - Shuts down the system and turns off the power. The system must support the power-off feature.
