50GB SmartFiler Virtual Backup Appliance 2.0.35 is launched to be a convenient as well as professional program which runs on VMware Player, VMware Workstation, or VMware ESX and operate identical to physical backup appliances, except that you do not use a dedicated physical appliance. It is ideal for small businesses that do not need to backup terabytes of data as well as medium enterprises that have already invested in VMware ESX virtualization and SAN storage infrastructure. The virtual appliance solution enables them to use their existing desktop PCs or servers with VMware Player or Workstation and implement a comprehensive onsite and offsite remote backup solution. 

Implementing SmartFiler Virtual Backup Appliance solution is simple and requires only minimal IT expertise. You simply extract the downloaded appliance backup software onto a hard disk on the local network for onsite backup and extract another copy of virtual appliance onto a removable hard disk for offsite backup.
