IIS Backup 1.2.0.2

IIS Backup 1.2.0.2 is a helpful program which allows you to backup all your IIS settings, including the complete list of web sites and all associated virtual paths and permissions, to an XML file. This XML file can then be used to selectively restore the sites to the same machine or any other machine using IIS 5, 6 or 7 (Win2000, Win2003, Vista, Win2008).

When restoring, you can run global search and replace in order to adjust ip numbers and paths that may differ slightly from one machine to another. If you are using the MS POP3 service, you can also backup email account names. When running on Vista and Win2008, you must have the Microsoft IIS6 Compatibility Tools installed.

This utility backs up all IIS settings to an XML file, and lets you restore sites and features selectively. You can backup sites from IIS 5 and restore to IIS 6, for example, when upgrading from Win2000 to Win2003. You can restore sites individually - by web site name.
