Image for DOS 2.24 description
Image for DOS 2.24 is a light-weight but reliable image backup and restore program. You can use it to easily and quickly create a complete backup of your hard drive's data and operating system partitions. Restoring is also quick, easy, and complete.
Just like what its name implies, Image for DOS runs under a DOS environment, but it can backup or restore any partition, including those of Windows or Linux. Image for DOS can also image to or restore from just about any drive letter, including network drives.
The program can also directly access FAT, FAT32, and NTFS partitions, as well as most writable USB 2, IEEE-1394, ATAPI- or ASPI-accessible CD or DVD drives, without the need for any special drivers.
By default, backups made to CD/DVD are bootable, which provides you with a convenient recovery CD/DVD. You can even easily create a self-booting floppy, CD/DVD, or flash disk to use for backups or recovery.
