LanHelper 1.88 is such a useful tool which is designed to help users with task of remote administration and will bring much convenience.

LanHelper is a remote administration software for Windows servers and workstations which integrates NT administration utilities and LAN monitoring features. Owing to the optimized user interface, LanHelper allows administrators to perform different operations on numerous remote computers simultaneously at high speed. Detailed logs are available for helping network administrators to quickly find and solve network problems.

LanHelper provides administration functionality such as Wake-On-LAN, shutdown, users management, groups management, services management, sessions management, task schedule, and more. However no any server program is required to install on remote computers. The IP scanner and LAN scanner are intelligent and fast in collecting machine data, and its very easy to manage the machine data with XML and XML-groups features. LanHelper can also detect computers statuses and monitoring computers availability. Once failure or problem is detected, LanHelper will alert network administrator, or automatically perform Wake-On-LAN & shutdown actions.

Different from other remote administration software, most of the LanHelper NT administration utilities provides many batch modes which can speed up the administration progress, and also provides detailed real-time logs for analyzing and researching.

7. Send the Wake-On-LAN commands (Magic Packet) to power on remote computers on LAN or WAN. Now supports schedule and service.
8. Shutdown or reboot the remote machines on local network. Now supports local schedule.

10. Send network message in a flexible way.
11. Monitor the machines on your network, check machines status, and detect whether the computer names or the IP addresses have been modified or not. Once the status changing is detected, LanHelper will immediately notify administrators through e-mail, network message, etc.
