OnTarget Data Backup 3.0.4 offers you an effective backup and recovery tool with which you can easily backup and restore: copy a fully customized list of folders and files to a new location. Why use OnTarget? Because it allows very flexible file lists. Because it is a safe - overwriting or file transfer occurs only if it is necessary. Files that have not changed since the last backup are not even attempted to be written and are skipped.
This reduces the risk of file corruption or data loss. Hash list allows the program to transfer only files that changed since the last backup. If out of 30,000 files, only one was edited, OnTarget will find and copy only that file and ignore the rest. This eliminates the slow write step from backup process.
