PC SMS Receiver 1.1 description

“PC SMS Receiver” is an application for receiving SMS messages on your PC via a GSM modem or a mobile phone connected to a serial port (or a USB port with a cable driver creating a virtual serial port). To be used with “PC SMS Receiver” your mobile phone must support the AT command set for receiving SMS messages, as defined in the GSM 07.05 Specification.

“PC SMS Receiver” can receive and reassemble "long" (or "concatenated") SMS messages. A GSM modem is preferable to a mobile phone because some mobile phones do not forward "long" messages via the modem interface.
