Restored is a revolutionary backup technology that takes a snapshot of your entire computer including photos, music, videos and documents at different times of the day.

Traditional backup programs make copies of all your files every time they run. Such backups take longer and consume too much disk space. Although Restored makes a backup of only changed files, it also remembers which files were not changed or deleted. In other words, it remembers exactly how your computer looked at the time of a particular backup, so you can browse your computer exactly as it were then.

Restored can detect disconnected backup drives. This is especially useful for laptop users. It can automatically detect when a USB or Network drive is connected or disconnected and resume backups accordingly.

1. Only backup changed files
   • Traditional backup programs make copies of all your files every time they run. Such backups take longer and consume too much disk space. Restored is smarter. On the first backup, Restored copies all your files to your backup drive. Then, for each additional backup, it only makes copies of those files that have been changed. Unlike most incremental backup programs, Restored does NOT require weekly full backups!

   • Restored can detect disconnected backup drives. This is especially useful for laptop users. It can instantly detect when a USB or a Network drive is connected or disconnected and resume backups accordingly. Everything is fully automated, so you don't have to lift a finger.
3. You're well covered
   • Since Restored keeps copies of only changed files, it can fit tens maybe even hundreds of backups to the same space a traditional full backup program could fit only two. Restored will try to keep all snapshots for the past 24 hours, and one backup per day after that. Every backup drive will one day run out of space no matter how big it is. When that day comes, Restored will start deleting your oldest backups first.

   • You can shutdown or put your computer to sleep whenever you want. Restored will automatically resume from where it left off next time you start using your computer.

   • Say you are working on a Word document. You deleted a paragraph 3 hours ago, but now you changed your mind and wanted to put that paragraph back. No worries... Just go to Restored and bring back your Word document as it were 3 hours ago.

    • By default, Restored will backup all your files. If instead, you prefer to backup only some of them, you can tell Restored to do so. It's that simple!
