Star Media Catalog main features are:
- automatically extracts detailed information from video files such as compressor, fourcc, resolution, duration, audio format, sample rate and number of audio channels.
- automatically communicates with the imdb.com server to get detailed movie information such as year, country, genre, rating, plot outline and cast.
- automatically downloads the poster of the movie if available on imdb.com.
- support for television series.
- the data is saved in xml format for easy handling.
Enhancements:
- - Now Star Media Catalog remembers if you select Add Year to Title or not. Also fixed some issues with the imdb parsing module - now information about plot outline is retrieved from every movie.
