The software simulates 100% Post-It for monitor. It initially runs in the System Tray. Right mouse button click on the yellow icon activates the pop-up menu where you can customize the global paper options such as paper on top, font, paper size, paper color, and text color. To launch the paper, simply double left mouse button click on the yellow icon, or select New Paper from the pop-up menu. The paper can be dragged anywhere within the desktop by using the left mouse button. Right mouse button click on the paper itself activates the pop-up menu where you can set paper options locally to the current paper. Other features listed in the pop-up menu are Print, Save, and Alarm capabilities. In addition, each paper has auto-save capability so that it will stay on the desktop in the exact previous location with the same text after a computer reboot or power surge.
