Tag Launcher is a better way to classify your files and find them. By tagging, you put files in virtual folders but files are not limited to be in one of them. It means similar tags makes files similar, therefore finding them will be easier.
Instead of using filenames as the search query, tags will be used. They are more meaningful and there is no limitation in their number. Beside their order is not important while in conventional search correct order is important to find files. People remember related keywords about files easier therefor finding files will be faster and easier than before.
As it doesnt search by file names, Tag Launcher is much more faster. There is no need to find files and compare search terms with them. In fact any search in this application takes less than a second to give you results.
Searching by tag is much more accurate than conventional file search because you always recall some tags about a file but the same is not always correct about a filename or its content. Search inside of files is a solution but its slow and is not as accurate as tags because file content may not contain terms which may you remember about a file like binary files (like movies, photos, executable and ...).
Windows Vista has a tag search built in but it has a different approach and hard to use. TagLauncher is like del.icio.us but for files. TagLauncher is an easy and convenient solution for tagging files and finding or launching them in an easy and fast way even if you have Windows Vista installed.
