Taskline is a new and innovative approach to managing your personal schedule, work, and goals in Microsoft Outlook.
Outlook allows you to itemize your workload, to create a task list or To Do list. Listing tasks is a good way to remember them, but it doesnt create a plan for effectively getting them done. You have no idea when anything will get finished, what your priorities are, or whether you can deliver work by the required dates. A lack of information results in mistakes and confusion, and a lack of control leads to stress.
This is where Taskline can help. By automatically scheduling your task list, it maps out your future workload, defining dates for deliverables and checking that deadlines are achievable. Taskline puts you in the driving seat.
With Taskline, you can also quickly re-schedule your tasks, in response to changing priorities or new commitments, for example. Is it possible to complete that new assignment by the required deadline, given all your existing commitments? Taskline can tell you.

Taskline allows you to assign each task to a project, to help you organize your tasks more effectively. Taskline can also place tasks in Outlooks calendar, and keep the calendar updated as tasks change. If you place appointments, meetings etc in the Outlook calendar, Taskline can put the tasks there too, so that you can now have a single view that completely details everything you have to do, when, and in what order. If you have Outlook 2002 or newer, you can also visually organize your calendar by adding colors to indicate priority, status or task category.
